I don’t have a favorite artist. I’ve never done the research to find artists who I can be inspired by without it being for an assignment. I can say, however, that I do enjoy seeing surrealist artwork. Ones that are visually quirky and fun. I enjoy this mostly because it’s hard to open my mind to be open to the most random combinations and put it together cohesively on a single page. The artist that I chose is a Surrealist artist. Vladimir Kush is a Russian surrealist painter. I like “golden anniversary” because of it’s cool color palette that expresses serenity and the creativity of using a banana peel as a hammock representing relaxation.
