About Me

Hello! My name is J. I’m a freshman with hopes of pursuing a dual-degree with Political Science and Art, and am currently staying at my home in Tennessee. I am also nonbinary, and use they/them pronouns.

I’ve been seriously interested in art since about 16-ish (although you might think it was 8 by the looks of my early artwork). Ever since then, I’ve been a primarily digital artist. I do art trades with other artists, draw different characters, and just kind of having fun with it. What I lack in technical skill, I try to make up for with passion and a deep love for experimenting with colors. Here’s some of my work!

This was a gift for a friend! The background characters were drawn without a sketch, and were just kind of added in as little cameos to make my friend smile, so they look a bit bad compared to the main figure.
A weird experiment using just the line tool of an art program.
A gift for another friend of mine! I really love the way the earrings turned out. I have got to draw more metal sometime.
All my lil pixel icons actually are drawn on a 50×50 scale and then sized up (see below)
This chibi was drawn in an attempt to emulate Satchely’s (https://twitter.com/_satchely?lang=en) chibi style from the game Doki Doki Literature Club
Have I mentioned that I love experimenting with colors
Quick sketch to show some of my traditional art
I don’t like almost any of this (and I didn’t quite understand what contour was at the time), but I figured the figures at least would neat to look at.

Lastly, I really recommend using Line-of-action (https://line-of-action.com/) for figure drawing!! It has a “class mode” where it gives you several figures, and you draw each for 30 seconds, then a few more for 1 minute, then a couple more for 5 minutes, then 1 for 10 minutes (there are different modes you can use though, and you can pause and focus on the figure whenever you want). You can choose between nude and clothed, and they even have sections for animals, expressions, hands, and landscapes! It’s great practice!
