Nice job! I can tell that a few lines were uneven but so were mine lol. Plus it adds character. I also liked that you shaded the major crinkle lines and the background. It looks good.
The shading on this is really nice – it almost looks like a graphic novel or something. Or the music video for “Take on Me.” For the most part, everything looks super accurate, although there are a few lines near the middle that seem to exaggerate the effects of the creases – they don’t seem to have as sharp and significant bumps in the reference photo as they do in the drawing.
There is strong structure in this drawing, the paper is convincing in its hills and valleys. Nice work. Keep pushing the weighted line to get more depth and expression.
I would love to see your take on this drawing now that you have explored value more deeply. This could be a good winter project-value studies of crumpled paper.
