Favorite Artist Week of 9/20

The artist I chose for this week is Andy Warhol because of how much he changed the art industry. With his paintings, he launched the Pop Art movement. The painting shown is called “Campbell’s Soup Cans” and was made in 1962. This painting showed his originality. He painted this simply because he likes their soup cans and that is relatable. I like Andy Warhol because I like his mindset when choosing what to paint and because they are bright and the repetition of this painting visually appealing.-MOMA
