Although proportions are wrong, I am still really happy with this!

Your work in progress shots are awesome! I think you did a really great job of identifying the darkest darks/ highlights. I think addicting some texture by blending the charcoal a little less could have added to the piece and made it a little more realistic, since the photo reference isn’t as much of a smooth surface. That’s just personal preference though!

The blending of the shadows on the final version of this is phenomenal – it’s extremely subtle and lends a perfectly organic quality to the drawing.
Did you rework the proportion of the left skull to front tooth and increase the value range? If so then please post the updated final version.
