Wonderful portrait of the artist, timeless and true. Love the googles, tea and hat, could be in a Van Gogh painting, Toulous Lautrec or an Edward Hopper. Look them up please.
Is this drawing in process? I would suggest to do darker (4B pencil or 6B) in the hat and also add the line work of the paisley pattern on the vest. Left iris needs to decrease in diameter (shapes diminish as they receed in space) and the left portion of the lip also needs to shrink a bit.k You really captured the poetic spirit of the artist! Keep up the good work!
I think my favorite part of this drawing is the intricate patterns on your vest – they really add a lot of pop to the composition. The hat seems like it should be solid black, though – the textures in it are a little distracting from the rest of the drawing. I also think it would work better if your hair was darker. Good work!
